    Langtang Valley trek is another name of Langtang Village that lies to the north of Kathmandu.Langtang  a narrow valley is home of  Tamangs & Sherpas whose daily way of living & culture are similar to Tibetan. Visiting to the Langtang village provides a unique opportunity to explore Budhist villages with several monasteries & climb small peaks Yala & Nayakyang. 

    Langsisha Kharka to the North of Kyanjin Gompa that presents a spectacular view of Langtang Lirung (7246m.), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Naya Kangari (5846m.), Dorje Lakpa (6966m) etc. Hiking up to Tsergo Ri, we can get spectacular views of Langtang Valley & mountain at once.

    Kyanjing Gumpa is last human settlement in Langtang valley. It has world famous Buddist monastery.

    To make your trekking more wilderness, challenging & thrilling it is possible to trek though beaten path by crossing Ganjala(5130m). You need to spend one night on tented camp before crossing Ganjala & one extra night will be again on Tented camp after crossing pass. It is really a peaceful trail where you hardly meet other tourist during your trek between Kyangjing to Tarkeghyang. Ultimately you arrive in Tarkeghyang a main hub of Helambu trek.

    Helambu is situated 75 km. far north east of Kathmandu.There are many Buddhist Monasteries heart touching view of  landscape ,Rhododendron forest and local Buddhist traditional culture. The local people are Tamang with Sherpa people inhabiting the higher villages Melamchi Gaon, Tarkegyang and Sermathang.


  •  Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

    You will be welcomed by Cozy Trek representative at Airport Arrival gate & transfer to your hotel. On arrival at hotel you will be shortly briefed  about next day program & rest of day you are free of your own.O/N Hotel

    Day 02: Half Day Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and Trek preparation

     Sightseeing to world heritage sights by trained city tour guide starts at 8 am. A three hours city tour brings you Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath & Buddhanath Stupa. Rest of the you may be assisted by our guide for checking trekking gears & preparation. O/N Hotel

    Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu [1,460m/8-9 hours]

    An early morning drive starts from Kathmandu . Driving by bus may take 9 hrs but it is possible to hire 4W Jeep ( Additional cost) as  well for comfortable journey. The drive leads us east from Kathmandu passing Trishuli Bazar, Betrawati Bazar, Kalikasthan, Dhunche & finally brings us to Syabrubensi. Stay overnight at Syabrubensi in a lodge.

    Day 04: Trek Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel [2,470m/6 hours walk]

    After breakfast in our lodge at Syabrubensi we start our first day trek through jungle, normally gentle up trek takes us to Bamboo at the height of 1970 meters where we will have our lunch. Walking through National park for another 1 hr. we reach Rimche (2455m). Another one hours gradual uphill hiking brings us to Lama Hotel. O/N Lodge

    Day 05: Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Village [3430m/6 hours walk]

    Our journey moves fallowing jungle along the side of Langtang River and the trail goes up to Gumanchok(2,990m) on the middle of forests and keep on  Ghodatabela (2972m) for lunch. Our trek carries on Langtang village for another 2 hrs from Ghodatabala. O/N Lodge

    Day 06: Trekking Langtang to Kyanjin Gumba [3,870m/3 hours walk]

    Our trek continue climbing through tiny villages like Mundu Singdum and Yamphu (3640m) and yak pastures as the Langtang valley extends and the Himalayas scenery comes near. Passing several small streams and moraines along the wide and open valley, Kyanjin Gumba is reached. It is fairly 3-4 hrs gentle hiking. Kyanging Gumpa  offers the excellent views of Dorje Lakpa (6990m), Langtang Lirung (7,227m), langtang Ri peak (6,370m) and many more including yala peak .O/N Lodge

    Day 07: Exploration to Tsergo Ri(4984m)for 7 hrs.

    Today is our most exciting  day of the trek. As you hike around anywhere from your Hotel you will be seeing marvelous scenery. A day hike to Tserko Ri (4,984m) offers dazzling view of himalays of langtang region. Back to stay at same hotel.

    Day 8:Trek from Kyanjing Gompa to Ngegang (4000m.) five hours. 

    From Kyanjing you don’t get to see any villages & no lodge available until you arrive Tarkeghyang. The trail goes on ascending. camping is necessary & we make our camp at Ngegang(4000m)


    Day 9:Trek from Ngegang to Keldang (5106m.) by crosing Ganja La (5130m.) takes about five and half hours.

    Today  is comparatively strenuous as we need to cross the Ganja la (5130m which is often covered by snowy ice throughout most of the year. We spend the night in our camp inside the forest.O/N Camp


    Day 10:Trek from Keldang to Dukpu (4080m.) for 5-6 hrs

    Today we walk along a ridge and grassland with amazing views of Mountains all around. Stay overnight at tented camp.

    Day 11    Trek from Dukpu to Tarkeghyang (2740m.) for  five hours. 

    The trail descends about 200m. Views from the pass is spectacular The trail then descends through pine and rhododendron forest, past a tiny herder settlement to Tarkeghyang. You can visit one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries and Sherpa villages at Tarkeghyang. These villages are well-settled and are inhabited by friendly and cheerful mountain people. Overnight at lodge.

    Day 12: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang(2610m) for 4 hrs.

    It is a short day & very pleasant day. We start trek around 8 am & trek through Langtang National park. Basically the trail are flat & some time mind ascending which we call Nepali Flat. It take 4 hours to arrive Sermathang so we will have our lunch at Sermathang.O/N Lodge

    Day 13: Trek to Melamchipul Bazar

    We start our trek early morning today. After breakfast we commence trek at 7 Am. We hike never ending downhill until we arrive Melamchipul Bazar. It takes about 5 hrs to arrive Malamchipul then we drive to Kathmandu for 3 hrs.O/N Hotel
